The Pieces to Our Puzzle!

Harmony Health, PLLC Therapeutic Services [Harmony Health] is a behavioral health practice created to improve the mental health and overall well-being of those served.

Our mission:  To improve the quality of life for families through a holistic approach in mental and emotional wellness.

Our Vision: We aim to disrupt Oppression, the Stigma of Mental Health and promote Holistic Wellness by delivering services through a Social Justice, Resiliency and Collective Framework.

Harmony Health Therapeutic Services’ philosophy is to recognize the family member and natural supports as the experts. Our Helpers and Healers are professionals that serve as a guide and resource for the family as we partner on their healing journey. We're not here to advise or lead. Harmony Health is both trauma-informed and healing centered. We believe in advocating for those we serve. Our perception is that families are not broken but are missing pieces to their puzzle. Harmony Health’s goal is to help them put the pieces back together again. This means that we operate from the perspective that although Healing is an individual journey, Healing doesn't happen in isolation, it happens within Community. So members don’t just choose a therapist, they choose a family! Harmony Health’s Helpers and Healers are trained in the agency’s trauma informed treatment model, practices, philosophy, and confidentiality policies. At Harmony Health, the culture is client centered. Our focus is on psycho-education as well as treatment, support and connecting to needed resources.

Our Family Values

We are a collective of mental health and wellness helpers and healers who are passionate about providing a range of wellness services to our community. We believe in a holistic approach to healing, and we work with those we serve to create a healing journey and promote emotional well-being. We are dedicated to serving you through a value system, that we want to embody as we walk with you on that journey. We value difference, and do not discriminate based on difference. We want to help you to empower yourself to take an active role in your own overall wellness. As a family of helpers, we all provided input into developing these values and share them with you.

Integrity

The ideology that honesty is to be exhibited whether they can be seen by all or by none. It's also about having an alignment of what you say and what you do, and having both stand on the foundation of appropriate values and beliefs that would aid the growth and development of the community. At Harmony Health we strive to do what is right morally, ethically and take accountability when we may have caused harm. We recognize that character dictates how we show up and contributes to how we serve others.

Collectivism

The idea that we value the wellbeing of the group as it relates to self and others. We work to be mindful of how each decision, choice or action impacts the others in our agency and those we serve. We recognize that in each success, contributes to the success of the agency and those we serve. We maintain Community Partnerships and share resources to ensure that we sustain the Village of Healing. We believe that healing is an individual journey that is not done in isolation, but within a community.

Harmony

Harmony is having a rhythm, being in sync with the Universe and others. We have to learn to disrupt society's agenda of being an unbalanced person, who strives to conquer the universal principles, for oftentimes selfish and individualistic reasons, all of which can cause them to be out of sync with the universe. At Harmony Health, we utilize this by maintaining our values, being mindful and in tune with our family and those we serve. We value difference and uniqueness as it brings to the Circle of Life and Connectedness.

Compassion

The idea that as a collective, we can understand other's needs and pain. We can work together to help others to heal their pain and address their needs. At Harmony Health, we must be able to address our own needs and pains first, so that we can serve from our peace to help others do the same.

Trust

By constantly working to grow and develop Self, we grow in our Self Trust. Showing up genuine, authentic and trusting in our decisions, our work and our ability to help others heal establishes a foundation of trust and safe space for those we serve. Therefore, we are able to extend for others to walk on the healing journey free from judgment and showing up authentically.
